Premium - Academic/Lyfe Skills Fusion

Each session is uniquely tailored to your scholar's interests and academic goals. "Lyfe" Skills are woven throughout each academic session and will equip them with practical, age-appropriate tools to use inside and outside of the classroom. This service is offered year-round and is a perfect option for parents who want their scholar to understand how school and academics play a major role in their current and future interests while still achieving their academic goals. This option is also recommended for those scholars who have IEPs, 504s, or other special accommodations; we will focus primarily on those goals and other objectives you want your scholar to achieve. Homework help is NOT included. $80 for 90 min. (2 - 45 min sessions per week or 1 session upon request).

Example #1: A scholar might be very interested in becoming a streamer, influencer, content creator, or stylist; however, they might struggle with math. Their tutor will create a plan to fuse their future interest(s) with the importance of math so they can see how the two are related. Additionally, their tutor will introduce age-appropriate math lyfe skills to get them prepared for the “real world,” such as how to tip, how to check that their paycheck is correct, and how to use percentages.

Example #2: A scholar has an IEP or 504 in place. To facilitate the goals listed in their plan, their tutor will review the specific plan and customize their sessions to achieve the goals of their IEP or 504. Their tutor will also introduce age-appropriate lyfe skills as deemed necessary while simultaneously making sessions fun, interactive, and relevant to the scholar’s current and future interests.
